Where do i stand
I seem to be the last casual standing at my mail centre, still racking up atleast 20hours a week but a couple days ago these hours have come under threat as a Royal Mail worker wants these hours as overtime. This worker already 50 + hours a week is there a limit on the number of overtime hours a worker can do? can they get the union involved? are they likely to get these hours and put me out of work? where do i stand?

Unfortunately yes - dont think there is a maximum providing the hours fall within working time directives and Royal Mail regulations. We have permanents who regularly do 70+ hours per week.
