Status??

Hi everyone,I wondered if someone could shed some light for me...I applied for a job to return to Royal mail after a career break,for the past 2 weeks my application status has said processing security checks,this afternoon this changed to **submitted** i have searched on here to see if it says how much longer i might have to wait but cant find it anywhere..others seem to have the status change to security checks passed..does anybody have any idea how much longer it might take..Many thanks :)

I am finished my documents verification, when i am checking in royal mail website it will displays hired and start date agreed. i am getting a mail with attached a contract agrrement form. i am sign the agreement form and post it it on the same day i am already done this thing 7days ago. but still i am not getting my id badge. can u pls help me how long it will take to get an id badge.

To be honest our experience over the last few years is that there isn't a hard and fast progression. I have seen it take as little as a week to as long as a few months, best advice is to keep an eye on your recruitment page, and your spam folder as well. Good luck though the job has changed a lot in the last couple of years - well aprt from the end product of putting bits of paper through holes in doors of course.

Again there is no standard time, best just to wait and keep an eye on your email account and recruitment page.

Thanks Trueblueterrier :) I will keep a close eye on the recruitment page because for some unknown reason the emails that get sent to me on there are not being sent to my personal email inbox,this has caused me problems at every stage,i have had to chase everything up lol...ahhh well just shows how keen i am!! .When i first worked for Royal mail it was a lot straighter forward than the recruitment process now thats for sure.Again thanks for your input,i guess i will just have to be patient.
