Did anyone else receive a text from Angard yesterday?

Post by massdebate121 »

Last night, an hour before my shift started, I received the following text:

Email us if you are still interested in working for S*********n MC, including your name, postcode and preference of shift. If you do not respond you will have your P45 sent to you.

Myself and several others (who have been working there on mostly full time hours since March) felt very loved.

We got this at our Mail Centre sometime in March.

Seemed to be a mass text to everyone working at our place to all casuals (long term and Christmas) to see who wanted to stay on. At least this time they have done it before sending P45s out whereas around March at our MC P45s got sent prior to the text.

P45's are probably on the way then! I think they could have worded the text a bit better, as a few of us panicked. Or they could've done the decent thing and phoned us all.

Scum.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

As usual, Angard are doing it "Their Way" & to hell with anybody who works for them. Glad I'm not relying on them.
