When will I get a call???
I had applied for the job Casual Mail Sorter in Royal Mail which is situated in Hamel Hampstead in December 2011. I was interviewed on phone and further I was booked an interview on 30 January 2012 for the documentation. I had recieved the call once from the Angard Staffing for the verification of the documents that I had provided and after that, no communication was made from the Angard Staffing.I logged in to the Royal Mail Careers job application on Royal Mail's website and the status states "Hired and Start date Agreed." Unfortunately, I have not received any call or email regarding my job at Royal Mail. Its almost 6 months since I applied for this job, please help me!!!

Re: When will I get a call???
They are not the most communicative of companies.
I would recommend you call them, call them, call them ... and call them - oh and do not forget to call them. Use the numbers for Northampton - search this forum for the 01604 numbers.
We call about every couple of days to see if there is any work - they very rarely contact us without being prompted.

Faraz
Best to call every couple of days as suggested by Verging but you may have to keep trying
01604 818 813
is often busy for ages...
but
01604 818 805
is better
I've been calling re DMC 2/3 times pw., but haven't had any luck for a week
Getting a bit concerned as previous to this I've been given some work every week since mid April.

Re: When will I get a call???
In my experience and from other people in previous years it always goes quiet in the Summer. Last year I got only half a day per week from Mid June to Mid August. Saved my holiday pay for just this purpose.ennabee wrote:Faraz
