Just found out I been paid hoilday pay

Just found out I been paid hoilday pay

of £80 but because they took tax from me i own them £1.92. How do i claim back this amount of £80 do i ring hmrc as i am student with no other job i have a free allowance help thanks.

There is no such thing as a free allowance - even for students.

There are a number of threads on the site about how to claim it back.

I think (but I'm not sure) that he may be talking about his Tax Allowance. If so, a quick visit to his local Tax Office will soon sort it out. He'll get a Tax Rebate in a few weeks, assuming that either he has received (and kept) his Payslips (unlikley with Angard), or Angard can provide the necessary records for the Tax Office. Which I believe is a legal requirement. But I'm not 100% sure of that. Worst case scenario: it takes months, instead of weeks. Either way, he gets his money.
