Reconciling Actual Pay / Payslip / Expected Pay

I have just received my third Angard payslip this morning (should have been the fourth!), but I challenge anybody to attempt to reconcile what you expected to receive against what you have actually received against figures on your payslip

The pay and payslip for last week should be interesting if and when it materialises at the end of this week.

I worked 7.5 hour shifts @ £6.35p/h and pay basic rate tax, so starting on Wednesday 23rd November and up to Friday 16th December with 1 day off sick during that time, I was expecting payments and payslips showing......

2nd December : £142.88 Gross, £113.84 net;
9th December : £238.13 Gross, £178.64 net;
16th December : £238.13 Gross, £178.64 net;
23rd December : £190.50 Gross, £146.22 net.

(A total of £809.63 Gross, £617.28 net)

In that time, I have received 2 BACS payments, 1 faster payment and 2 Transfer payments, totalling £691.33. The last payment was a BACS payment, so no payment has been received too late to be shown on a payslip.

I did not receive a payslip for my first week, but have received one each week since. These show a total gross payment of £927.12, deductions of £549.07 leaving a net payment of £378.05

So, how on earth Angard Payroll can reconcile their own figures is anybody's guess!!

Looks like you are paying emergency tax not basic rate.

Strangly enough, the tax and NI deductions are actually correct at BR and 'A' rated NI for the gross pay quoted, but the figures that are completely inaccurate are the 'Gross Amount' shown on the left hand side of the payslip and the 'Net deduction' figures on the right.

im not sure about mine

the pay slip covers the first two weeks, during which I work identical hours (the 3rd week went a bit wrong on my side) yet the hours worked are different.

I asssume it means payments for week ending as the date? is payment for 5th - 9th?

argh im going to need more time looking at this.
