Hi all,
I attended an interview up exeter city stadium for a christmas temp job and recieved a provisional letter about my start date (which said turn up on your first shift to accept job) so i turned up and started my christmas temp job for royal mail in exeter on the 4th of december, i worked sunday - wednesday night, and as i was waiting to be signed in on thursday night and my name got called out by a manager, i was then told that i couldnt work for RM anymore as angard staffing didnt security check me or have any records of me at all and sent me home.
I have within the past 3 months been fully advanced CRB checked as i am a door supervisor for clubs and pubs and retail. Apparently angard staffing have found my records but what happens now? do i start work again and will i get paid for the 4 nights that i worked? i have tried to contact angard but nobody answers the phone? pleeaasseeee help :)

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
