How to get a career with RM?

What worries me is how do I start a career within RM if the only way to be employed is through the wholly incompetent angard?

Royal Mail have not employed for years if anything they are offering voluntary redundancies I believe.

If you can drive and able to do walks, their is the opportunity to become a walk postman or donkey as postman are now know. But i think Robots will be getting used in the future to deliver the mail.

I used to work for RM a few years ago, and left.
My advice is-
Don't bother, wait until something better turns up!!!

I know if you are out of work, any work seems better than none, however most jobs are only part-time, with little chance of overtime so check you can live on part-time money.
Any full-time vacancies are rare, and RM operates a 'seniority' policy, so there will be plenty in line before you for a full-time position.

Not that I am trying to put you off, just letting you know.
The reason I left-for a full time job elsewhere as I couldn't afford to live on the wages I was getting.
