Title edited.
I'm reading that it's 30 mins,so you should get paid 7-30 for a 8 hrs shift i guess.
Can anyone confirm.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

A bit of a misunderstanding I think.Luther101 wrote:30mins...but how you are getting paid 7 pound an hr? thought it was 6.8
Means that whilst at work for 8 hours - the 30minute break is unpaid so you get paid for a 7 hours 30 minutes shift.POSTMAN wrote:I'm reading that it's 30 mins,so you should get paid 7-30 for a 8 hrs shift i guess.

I think anything up to 12 hrs is 30 mins deducted.
