If you do nightshift on a saturday do you get the sunday rate in the morning hours you work, as a christmas casual

I got my payslip today and it has paid me daytime wages when I've been on nightshift.

I'll need to give them a call on Monday.

I also don't really know if I'm on the right tax code - does 0T 1 mean anything to anyone?

Tax code '0T' means your allowances have been used up or reduced to nil and your income is taxed at the relevant tax rates.

Afternoon,

I received your query. I have looked into this and am pleased to tell you
that the Sunday rate that was missed on the week ending 21st October has
now been put through for adjustments. You will see this in your next pay
check (2nd Dec).

STILL WAITING!!! Had my payslip for this week and the money was not shown. Did 16 hours week before last (Mon - Thurs) late shift. Payslip shows 21 hours.(nothing showing a correction) As a point of principle I will email about the overpayment. Angard may be understaffed, overwhelmed and overworked BUT pay is important. Right or wrong, under or overpaid it should be 100% correct.

Everyone please ensure that you personally record every minute you work. Its difficult reconciling a payslip with memory especially as Angard/RM now pay Friday-Thurs.

I'm surprised that this shambles has not had a wider press!

I started on 5th December 2010! Got kept on as a Royal Mail casual. Nice little earner as well, pay was great and on time and in most cases correct. If not a quick call to the book room and it was sorted.

Since September all RM Casuals were taken over by Angard and we took a 16% pay cut and have been mucked about with "assignments". To be honest my "assignment" has always been nights at the mail centre. Just doing Christmas for the extra cash for the kids then I'm leaving. When you take away a £1.76 night shift allowance and only give you 50p in return its time to move on. My mate empties S***t out of trains every night and gets £7 an hour.

I've heard the Manpower staff are getting better money, but then we have the benefit of Angard's expertise. They are masters... of bullshit.

Sometimes there are problems getting through to payroll on the 0845 460 7318 number. I was hanging on for over half an hour today.
I recommend trying 01202 688 502 which answered straight away.

1st week: paid daytime rates for nightshift
2nd week: hours missing
3rd week: days missing.

Nobody picks up the phone.
e-mail bounces back.

I tried the number Peter posted and the girl told me that I should phone back on Wednesday as Mondays and Tuesday are when they work on the payroll.
