Experience counts for NOTHING

Post by fossymike »

Having worked for Plymouth RM for the last 5 xmas's. I went to the registration at 9.00am on the 13 oct. I was the 3rd person to be seen and was given the provisional offer letter for early shift 0630-1330 starting tomorrow 23rd nov. It seems experience means nothing as i have heard nothing from angard,no email text or phone call. My brother in law worked last year only and on the 18th of nov he recieved an email confirming his start date for the 23rd at 0630. In the last couple of days i have sent 9 e-mails,been phoning 01604629381 from 9 am till 1730 and did not get through once. I dont know what to do now.
Thanks a lot Angard

Just a number to agencies mate. hate dealing with them.

Im one of many who have turned up for work only to be turned away due to not being on the list.

tried contacting them and they just took my details.

some people are saying their communications have been down, don't see how though as i got through eventually.

Angard actually told me that experience means nothing during my very first phone call to them.
I said I was concerned that I'd heard nothing weeks after the registration event with online status still reading application recieved. She couldn't give me any helpful information so I asked her if having worked there for the last 3 years would go in my favour to which she chuckled and said no. She then told me if I was that desperate to get a job for Christmas then I should apply elsewhere ffs :no no
