It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Pre September casual night pay was £7.76 (pre min wage rise!) . With Angard this is now only £6.58 and applies to everyone, even those already in place and working all year as RM casuals.

Sundays are the worst a 12 hour shift with RM during the day 8 til 8 (£5.96 + £4.56 ph) would have earned you £126.24. Angard pay for the same hours £90.96 (£7.58ph)

Can anyone explain why the advert for Xmas temps states that the hourly rate for Mon-Sat 22.00 - 06.00 is £8.11 for 18+? That advert is still on the angard/RM website and I printed it off a couple of hours ago? The more I look into this the more I regret having ever had anything to do with angard.....

Angard would have to explain, I doubt you would get them expounding the reasons on an unofficial forum though.
