I got a provisional offer as well to work at the Mount Pleasant branch nearly three weeks ago and my application status is still saying processing security check :confused. Did they tell you the start date?

Thanks.

Well you wont have to worry about your security check because royal mail do not have a problem with people who have criminal records working for them at mp which is a disgrace and as a customer I cannot belive that this company would allow potmen/women who have been convicted of fraud to handle mail.Especially Passports and this is what this person was convictrd of obtaining passports fraudulently and was convicted of this crime in a court but yet continues to work for royal mail. :confused

I agree with you their system sucks big time.....last week they sent me an email and a text saying i got the job (status=HIRED AND START DATE AGREED). But they didn't give me a start date/time of hours etc. Tried contacting them no luck.
