Hired and start date agreed..No name on signing sheet???????

After the security checks passed i waited for long and gave a call for angard staffing.
they gave me a start date and when i went for my first shift with the contract for joining & there was no name on the signing sheet.
ant they turned me out by giving a number to call angard.I travelled all the way during the night for my night shift and this is what happened for me with the angard staffing.
I was very upset.Already i worked with royalmail previously i didnt had such bad experiences.
But with angard staffing there are quiet lot problems and they are not processing anything in a good way.i got calls for two times from the angard staffing to start my work and finally at the joining date there was no name on the signing sheet.

Bang out of order really, I would get on the phone to them and say to them what are you playing at. I have come across this a couple of times now on this forum people turning up and then royal mail are like we are not expecting anyone to be starting today.

I worked with a guy yesterday who just got a call on monday 14th (no email) he got started yeterday 15th and his ID pass was all ready for him to start work, the id pass must have been done well previous to him starting, but i found it strange that he got his call only the day before.
Angard staffing are most definately NOT singing from the same hymn sheet,, there just basicaly bad at what they are supposed to be doing for RM.

I called angard staffing about not having my name on the signing sheet as i got the offer letter with me.
They just said i can start my work next day or may be some another day and he is not sure about that.
he said he will give me a call back about the issue..Has been waiting for the call from morning ..no call till now...
it is really very hard and very upsetting after having offer letter,got the call from them to start my work and been turned away for not having my name on the sheet.

Same thing just happened to me:

I showed up with my confirmation email saying I should have started tonight at 22:00, but because there was no ID badge ready for me and my name wasn't on the sign in sheet they had to send me home.

I was supposed to start today, 50 people turned up, 25 were turned away for not being on the sign in sheet!! including me

got 2 emails confirming i start today and everything!

gonna try and get through to angard, but reading comments on here, im not expecting much.

its ridiculous, people are depending on this job, i know i am.

no name on sheet never got a email or a phone call just a letter when i went for the interview oh and no id

Got my email on Friday, turned up to south london mail centre at 5pm today. Was there for about 10 minutes before getting on the bus home. Saw 6 or 7 others in the same boat in that time period..

The lady on reception was apologetic, but it's not her or RM's fault it seems. That was just the list of names they had been given.

Got given a number to call angard on, but I doubt I'll get through, let alone anything else.

Utterly useless.

im the same start date agreed but no i.d or actual date or time just said wait for an advisor 4 weeks now but i did email this women who send my details on to the hr department dont now if it true tho?
