"Hired and Start dateAgreed" but no calls were received

Hi,

I attended the interview for Christmas casual manual date entry keyer in stockport in early October, and about two weeks later the online status change to hired and start date agreed, but I haven't got any email, call or any other kinds of notification from ANGARD STAFFING. It's been more than three weeks. I am very worried about this, probably this is not guaranteed, but they should have given me a reply at least. Is there anyone have similar situation, how did you guys deal with this?

BTW, I called them this morning, the responsible staff is not in office, they told me they would call me back later. But I DO NOT feel they'll do so, are they always do what they promise as the number of applicants is enormous?

I passed my assessment on 25/10 and status shows as "processing security checks" but still no call or email. I only opted for weekend shifts. Exactly similar case with my friend.

Is anyone starting at MDEC this week let us know their experience ?

Hi, friend,

I suppose you still need to wait for a while to get status changed to "Hired and start date agreed".
But even you got this, they still don't contact you and just put you in endless waiting.
I'm sick of it, but cannot figure it out.

keep calling them, I did and I got a job, the times I'd be working and what date and the dress code, so JUST KEEP RINGING AND THEY'LL CALL YOU EVENTUALLY! DON'T GIVE UP!!!!

The guy and the phone told me everybody who had "Hired and Start date agreed" will here back from them by the end of this Friday with their start date.

I doubt it, wouldn't be the first time I've been fobbed off with a similar story like that from workers at Angard.

thanks...I followed your advice and had several conversation with different people there for about half an hour. I got a relatively satisfying response, they said they would contact me by the end of this week. I hope I could get what they said.

I got the same reply...I was happy, but now begin to worry about the prospect.

IFY, I just GOT confirmation from one of my friend, he has been allocated the start date last Friday, it is 26th of November. I reckon for us who will work in weekdays, it would be from 28th November.

Wish WE COULD GET THE CALL SOON. SICK OF IT.

MDEC - Phoned 01604629381 daily since last week. Finally got a local number (Stoke). Starting 17:30 on 28th. Two hours a day training for two days. Shift hours advised but no actual start date. Email contract etc to follow idc

Which stoke number you phoned ? Did u got your first priority shifts ?
