I dont think you get a bonus. Are you sure its not the holiday pay that you are already entitled to?

What sort of breaks do you get for an eight hour shift doing Christmas Casual work at a parcel centre?

Just wondering, as I tend to get hungry every few hours, so would like to be able to plan to bring a packed meal or snack or something. Also, are there lockers or anywhere to put a small bag and outside jacket? And do we get access to them during breaks?

Depends on the managers, your entitled to 45 mins normally its one 30 min break and a 15 min break. Some days we've had the 45 mins in one go. Others we'll take the 30 skip the 15 and finish earlier.

We've got lockers in ours that you can get access too.

I'm pretty sure you don't get paid for your breaks and it's 5 minutes for every hour you work, so 8 hour shift = 40 mins break.

We are getting 40 minutes for Lunch and two 10 minute breaks, the times vary though! We have a locker room as such but its really a cloakroom which they just lock after the end of the break time.

Can anyone tell me if the hours worth of breaks on an 8 hour shift has just came in since Angard started running things or is this just the managers discression at each mail centre ?
