Has anybody else been booked for starting dates then found they were bogus or re-arranged without contact?
Turned up for my first day today as confirmed by telephone after an induction and face-to-face interview, only to be told on arrival for my first day of work at Doxford that they weren't expecting staff today. Angard have said they will get back to me as they have my details.
Has anyone else been booked for interviews like this?

Hi, also at doxford here, could you not have gotten the dates mixed up? The casual for royal mail never start this early as it's a MDEC. I was told 22/11/11 at my interview but then told 30/11/11 on the phone when they offered me the job, so it's actually not till the end of this month when the casuals start.
