AWR staff can expect a pay rise of 2% (or thereabouts) from 1st August, backdated to 4th April. See extract from email below. Updated rate cards will be available soon.
Pay Increase
Royal Mail have confirmed a 2% pay increase for all CWU graded roles, which will be back dated to April 2022.
We can confirm that for all agency colleagues on assignment with Royal Mail your rate of pay will be updated from 1st August 2022 (where you have completed over 12 weeks on assignment). Any back pay owed for hours worked from 4th April 2022 until 31st July 2022 will be paid in full on 12th August 2022. Please note this only includes the hours where you have worked over 12 weeks on an assignment.
Please note that Royal Mail’s pay rates are made up of a basic pay rate plus various supplements, depending on the role and location. This means that in some cases the 2% is not applied to the whole of the hourly rate you currently receive so as soon as Royal Mail confirm the new rate card we will share the details with you.
