Interview Wednesday

Hi everyone, I have my interview at the royal mail depot wednesday for a casual flexible resource role and would be grateful if I could get any advice.
First of all, I have my passport, driving license and national insurance card, with copies of each, to take to the interview; will I need anything else?
Also, can anybody give me a general sense of what the work itself and shift patterns are like? Will i be likely to get many hours straight away or does it not work that way?

Hey, don't know if this is too late but that's all you need as far as i remember. Shift patterns can be early (from 6am i believe), lates (evenings) and nights (can start from 11/12:30).. work is pretty easy i would say, probably be in some element of sorting either parcels, letters or bringing the work out from the warehouse. How many hours you'll get i think depends on which rm depot your working at, august is supposedly the quite period as its summer holidays, but you've joined at a good time i think, since sept should pick up before xmas, hope it goes well :)

Thanks a lot for your help mate! I just had my interview at the swansea depot and the woman from angard suggested we may get work in about three to four weeks. Any chance you can let me know how you get allocated shifts? Do they ring you and ask you to come in or does it work differently?

It alright!.. i'm not sure if it differs place to place but they usually do phone you to allocate you your first shift, after that they say they'll ring/text which if your depot doesn't have an abundance of staff they probably will, if they don't ring you after your first shift, try your best to find out the number to ring for your depot 'consultant', only way i found mine out and that you could ring up was through people at work, hope that helps and good luck :)
