Hello everyone. The day after tomorrow I have a job interview for a casual mail sorter position at Poole Mail Center (Dorset). I am not sure about taking the job because I've read people are having many problems to get enough hours. I have a full time job but I really want to leave that place. Anyway my question is: Do they give give you a minimun of hours during the first 12 weeks or something similar? Thanks
PD: How much is the pay rise after the first 12 weeks?

Its not a full-time job, the minimum is zero. You will end up disappointed if you think you are entitled to any more than zero.
Where I work starters average 8-15 hours during first 3 months - at minimum wage. People who are able to work nights, Saturdays or Sundays can expect more.
That said, it suits me and many others. You can combine it with a part-time (or even full-time) job, with a small business, with ad-hoc jobs /other contracts (my position) or if you are semi retired.
The pay rates vary from site to site. Where I am the rate almost doubles after you have done a shift in 12 separate weeks.
