Individual Payroll Statement To Date

Post by Britvic55 »

Like alot of other people, I was waiting for a (realistic) payment into my bank account yesterday (13th) & hopefully a payslip. Friday 6th January, when somone at Payroll finally answered the phone, I went through all the days/hours that I worked at Royal Mail. When the post came today, there was a letter from Angard telling me how much I had earned. Also that they do not owe me anything. The "advanced" payments made were docked at a later stage. They have "lost" the second week that I worked there, docked me one day & paid me the wrong rate after 10pm. By my calculations, they owe me just under £300 + holiday pay. Should you consider that anything in your statement is incorrect, please direct any queries to the Angard helpline..........Now depending on which number you ring, it either rings rings rings or it is answered, you select option 1 then on HOLD. This is not a HELP line, because it does NOT help you. Also, at this rate, phoning a non geographic number all the time is eating all my owed money. Another weekend ruined.

I got one of these at the weekend, and the figures are wrong all over the place. Hours worked is wrong, amount they've paid me via bank account is wrong, amount they've paid via voucher is wrong.
They show total deductions for tax and NI, but the amount of unexplained "net deduction"s they've taken off me seems to show up as being given to me, instead of taken from me.
I'm struggling to get my head round how they've made such a cock up, but at least the hours worked is wrong. A nice simple place to start.

*Sigh*
I'm really looking forward to debating this with Angard.
