Vouchers - how can you prove you have not received one?

Many posts here are about people being paid £0.01 because Angard/RM claim they have received a voucher, but the poster claims that they have not. I am one of the fortunate few that did not need to be given a voucher, because Angard had paid me some money, so I ask the question.....................

Are you able to prove that you never received a voucher if Angard/RM claim that you were given one?

I'm trying to deal with the same situation.

When I wrote to the Chief Executive in sheer frustration, she was able to prove 95% of the hours that i had worked, she just missed the 31st dec off. I have advised that i didn't receive a voucher but I'm still awaiting word from her to either agree or disagree.

All I know is that where I worked they took a list of names, sent it to Angard and then the vouchers were issued as per that list. My name wasn't ever on a list but I've still been deducted £300!?

I got a voucher, u don't need to prove u didn't get 1. Royal mail made me sign for mine, so as u haven't recieved one you won't have signed to say u did hope that helps.

I GOT A VOUCHER, U DON'T NEED TO PROVE U DIDN'T GET 1. ROYAL MAIL MADE ME SIGN FOR MINE, SO AS U HAVEN'T RECIEVED ONE YOU WON'T HAVE SIGNED TO SAY U DID HOPE THAT HELPS.

Thank you Jonny, it does help but by the way things are going. Those signed for voucher forms were either lost in the post or unfortunately in an accidental fire! Hence no proof anymore... so why not deduct £350 from everyone and see who complains!!

At least the onus is on Angard/RM to prove that you received one then.

So very true Philw but in my case they have taken £300 already so now I have to prove to them that I didn't have a voucher and so i'm at a loss! i'm awaiting word via the Chief Exec - will give it a few days.

Just ask them to give you a copy of whatever form that you are supposed to have signed and if they cannot do that, complete an ET1 form and let the Tribunal decide. The odds are stacked in your favour!

AS I DIDN'T GET PAID CORRECTLY AS EXPECTED I ASKED THE POST OFFICE IF THEY COULD GIVE ME THE VOUCHER BACK AFTER CASHING IT. THEY STAMPED IT AND GAVE IT BACK TO ME. THEY ALSO GIVE ME A RECIEPT WITH IT. YOU COULD TRY CONTACTING THE MANAGER WHO GAVE THEM OUT AND ASK THEM TO VERIFY YOU NEVER GOT 1. I KNOW 1 PERSON THAT HAS ALREADY DONE THAT

I KNOW MOST ROYAL MAIL SITES HAVE A BOOKROOM THAT'S WHERE THE FORMS WOULD HAVE GONE TO. THEY ALSO HAVE A LEGAL OBLIGATION TO HOLD ON TO THESE FORMS FOR FIVE YEARS FOR ACCOUNTS AND TAX REASONS. HENCE THE ONUS IS ON EM ANGATD TO PROVE U GOT 1. ALTHOUGH I'D GET IT VERIFIED AT THE SITE I WAS WORKING AT TO BE SAFE.

thank you jonny and philw, the site where i was at, they've told the staff to tell any 'disgruntled casuals' to deal only with Angard. Royal Mail are not willing to assist in any way.

I'm not still there but form ET1 is my next avenue, as I've advised others to do the same.

If the site you worked at arent willing to help you why not sumit a freedom of information request.

You will not be able to get any 'personal' information using the FOI route, but you may be able to get it using Data Protection rules.
