I have worked as Christmas Casual at Belfast Delivery Office in 2010 and 2011.

I booked my Registration Event - Invitation on Monday 4 October 2010 for the Tuesday 26 October 2010 and got start date at Interview Monday 6 December 2010.

I booked my Registration Event - Invitation on Wednesday 5 October 2011 for Tuesday 18 October 2011 and got start date at Interview Monday 28 November 2011.

I did register my details on Friday 3 August 2012.

Then on 10 September 2012 I applied for CHRISTMAS CASUAL Delivery Post Person- BELFAST DELIVERY OFFICE
Then on 12 September 2012 I applied for CHRISTMAS CASUAL Processing Post Person- NATIONAL RETURNS LETTER CENTRE Belfast

My status still quotes APPLICATION RECEIVED.

So should here back this week.

Anyone in Belfast applied for above jobs in Belfast

Cheers

The late shift. My anticipated start date is November 26th, however, this seems late, probably we (or some of us) will be asked to start before then, to do DSA.

Went for my registration today, I noted the instructions said bring a bank card or other documents for your bank details to be checked against, but he did not ask to verify my bank account number. Also in terms of proof of address, I had taken my credit card statement (I usually use my council tax bill but have mislaid the current one), he seemed reluctant to accept it saying the checklist said bank statement-surely a credit card statement should work as well as a bank statement? Fortunately I had a couple of Inland Revenue documents with my address on as well as my NI number so he just combined everything. He also got confused with my identity documents-I was adopted so in the application form I ticked 'yes' where it asked 'were you known by a different name at birth', and took my copy of my adoption order (which shows my birth name) as well as my birth certificate which shows my adopted name-and he couldn't understand why I was saying I had previously been known by another name. I did exactly the same in 2010 and didn't have a problem as the chap who did my registration on that occasion understood what the papers meant.

Just out of my registration got there for 9:00 there was about 4/5 people there waiting already, waited in a queue for about 5 minutes then got documents checked. Got shown to the table, went through all my documents and asked what shift I wanted and if I wanted an earlier start date. Got the contract signed it and that was it. I start on 20/11 at 8-2.

When I finished there was about 30/40 people sat down waiting to be seen and interviews are running today/tomorrow/Friday. I think by Friday though it'll be waiting list

Also I did need 2 photos & the P form, might be different at other places

What ID did you use? Did you have anymore forms to fill out when you got to the registration event?

I am stuck on these questions, I hope someone can kindly help :Very Happy

Are you now or have you previously been employed within Royal Mail Group?

Now I am guessing I select YES for this is that correct? even if I have been a Christmas Casual? Does this also include Angard???
--
Next question is this

What position do/did you hold?

Should I just put Christmas Casual?

Passport. If you use birth certificate make sure you take the full one as someone took the small one and got held back (not sure if they were sent away in the end)

I signed the P form there that was it

I attended the assessment on the 17th of September, and only today I've shifted from "security checks passed" to "hired and start date agreed", even though I haven't got any phone calls or emails from Reed/RM/Angard. I suppose I'm in for a long wait like last year? :dance
