sorry RedWaterRiver and rightly so. It is appauling how so many people can be so badly treated by one company.... an absolute nightmare!RedwaterRiver wrote:I have been reading them, just thought id add my share of the hideous tale...jerseyspice wrote:you and everyone else redwaterriver, you and everyone else!!RedwaterRiver wrote:I too received a letter saying i owe them money..£350.they only seem to think i worked 7-25 november, when i actually worked 7th nov to 23rd december, including all 3 dec. sundays, so theres no way i owe them anything: its the other way round. Ive called several times and been promised a call back but of course not had one :/
I wouldnt mind if id been stupid and never signed in..but i did every single day. Ive had problems since day one of working there; wish i hadnt bothered..

don't forget to complete your Employment Tribunal form and send Angard and the Royal Mail directors a copy of the number, you may get someone to sort things out then....... good luck!johnfoster-2 wrote:same here,
had a letter from Angard saying that I owed them £322. They had missed out at least a week's work and holiday pay. I told them to recalculate and I got EXACTLY the same letter through. The I phoned up and told them about it. This weak I got a letter through telling me I owed them over £200. In fact they owe me.
Totally ridiculous. I'm going to the citizen's advice bureau. Total joke.

This letter sent recorded delivery and copied to Angard by email did the trick - the money they owe me is now in my bank account.

Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing in response to your letter dated 13 January 2012 headed "Individual Payroll Statement To Date".
I do not owe Angard Staffing £XXX. Angard Staffing owes me £XXX in unpaid wages and holiday pay. In addition you have miscalculated the amounts of both the Income Tax and National Insurance payable.
If you do not pay me the £XXX you owe me within 7 days of the date of this letter I will issue a claim to recover this sum from you together with costs and damages. If you take any further action to recover the sum of £XXX that you allege I owe you I will seek an injunction against you.
The correct hours I worked as a Christmas Casual at XXX Delivery Office, the correct amounts of Income Tax and National Insurance and the wages and holiday pay you owe me are set out in the enclosed table.
I look forward to receiving your payment by return.
Yours faithfully

Re: Debt collectors on workers:Angard letter asking for mone
I had a call from Angard on the 28th but I missed it and they left a message, stating that I should have recevied an "upto date payroll" letter, which of course was not and that they will now close my case. I was absolutly fumming at this and little did they know but the day before I had finally pressed the submit button on my ET1 form
. Yday i got a call from angard again! basically asking if everything was "ok".....
I told them that instead of sending me this "latest payroll statement" they should of sent me a finger painting, it would of made more sense, I also told them they have untill this friday to pay me my money that I am owed otherwise I shall see you in court, her response was "ok we shall endevour to get this issue sorted". Today I had my confirmation of my employment tribunal which happens on the 16th of march. I have also informed angard.payroll email of my case number, given them all the correct hours i have worked and the amount of money i earned in that period and re-stating that their deadline is friday 3rd of feb otherwise I shall see you in court angard with the 2 other people claiming against you!
