where i work in romford, someone was told during shift that this would be his last day. when i spoke to my manager about it, he told me not to worry and that i will be fine. how can angard do this to people. i felt sorry for him. i could see he was very upset. great that all the papers and tv have got involved. the chelmsford story on london tonight was great

I was offered work after Christmas at York Mail Centre by RM HR (nothing to do with Angard) to make up for the not promised work during December by Angard. Busy day for me yesterday with a two actual long, and I mean long, telephone calls from the `big` bosses of RM HR and RM, after I asked Moya Greene by email why her promise to me on the 7th December was not kept. Seems someone directly working with Moya Greene was asked to find out why Angard had messed up and I had not been taken on this Christmas with having done Christmas work at YMC since 2000. Lots of apologies, a direct email address to contact for future use, very annoyed with Angard and compensation offered if I had missed out on other sources of work where I could not say `yes` or `no` to it because of Angard. Turned this down as I took an `executive` decision at the time and took on the work for a couple of days, regardless of Angard. So, unfair of me to claim compensation. Also turned down the work after Christmas as I will have gone back to my other casual/part-time work during January.
