Re: How to contact Angard
I went for a interview on the 17th of October for a xmas casual work position got told I would be contacted in 2-3 weeks. Now nearly a month later all I have had is a phone call at which point I asked when should I know if I have the position the guy on the phone said by the end of the week that was like 2 weeks ago. I have checked my royal mail profile on their site and it says awaiting further information, I mean they have not even asked me for any extra information.
I applied for a position in Shrewsbury.. Need some help.

Re: How to contact Angard
Contacted Angard as I am looking to start in Preston Depot on the 28th, have all the contract details documents have been checked etc. I am now being told only through mye checking there website that I have document's missing (which ones they are not sure) if that makes any sense!. So as you can imagine not happy if someone has lost my passport, driving licence information etc. I specifically made sure that i had all the information was there and now through there incompetency not sure if Im even going to be starting. All this for a temp job its disgusting. Royal mail should do there own assesment days at least you know where you stand. Lets hope they get back to me within the week (yes a week) to see if my scans suddenly appear.

Re: How to contact Angard
I am on the waiting list for Angard, however I'm also interested in other job.
I was in the opinion that I do not need to apply for the same job, therefore I withdraw my application. After all, someone told me I have to send separate application. The problem is once I withdrawn my application, it's not allowed me to re-apply, how to solve this problem. Who should I contact- Royal Mail or Angard to reset application. Can I have an email address? Many thanks

Re: How to contact Angard
I keep getting this. I have tried putting "Unresolved Query" with and without the quotation marks, with the space before it that it had in the email, all keep getting sent back. I really hope they look out the emails manually and reply to them.Marko73 wrote:That email address isn't working properly - no matter what you send to it, it replies with a list of stock questions/answers and instructs you to email again with "Unresolved Query" if your question isn't listed. And when you do, you get the same response again... and again... and again...
Can anyone advise me?
I had an interview for Christmas work on the 17th of October and was given a provisional offer. The interviewer told me to check my email every day, as when my security checks were finished I would get an email confirmation, which I would have to reply to promptly or lose the job. About a week ago I noticed that on the 'My Application' page my status had changed to "SECURITY CHECKS PASSED". It is still showing that, but I have not received an email from them. I've checked my spam folder, checked the 'your emails' section of the RM site, but nothing. I don't know when they would want me to turn up, even if I have got the job!
I'll try the phone numbers, posted in this thread, tomorrow.
EDIT: Ah, I've now seen all the many other people having the same problem. Hopefully phoning will help. Hopefully.

Re: How to contact Angard
This is a sham,
I got the email to say I needed to book my slot, clicked the link, logged back in and no slots were avaliable. A line in red print said to keep checking back for new avaliable days but no days have come avaliable. So my argument is why the hell send that email in the first place if all the slots were filled BEFORE I got my email.....GRRRRR.
I applied back in end of September, why has it taken so long for the emails to be sent out. Totally feel cheated out of work for xmas as I'm currently unemployed and the xmas money would have come in handy. I never had this issue 2 years ago when I did the same xmas casual before.
Just feel like i'm headbutting a brick wall

Hirussell2011 wrote:Ok I rang them up just now and a girl answered. She said there is some missing documentation and thats why there's been a delay with my application. She asked if I had any missed calls from them but I didn't, of courseThat's silly though because I know for a fact that I brought everything I needed to my interview along with photocopies. I never got turned away from the interview which I would have if I hadn't brought everything but I never got turned away and I was even given a provisional offer letter... So what documentation could possibly be missing??
She said that she'll pass it on to the security team and someone from there will phone me back within the next hour but what are the odds of that actually happening??
Now I'll just have to wait and see....
I have some problem like you.I got interview and they offer a letter.when I log in the rm website It says awaiting further information.I rung them but they said
they will call me.Did you have security team phone number? Did you got a job?

Re: How to contact Angard
I got through to the 'Christmas Team' number. She said she would probably have phoned me tomorrow (Wednesday) to ask me to start on Monday. So great to be given plenty of notice.
She said they have people starting every couple of weeks, but she couldn't say exactly when the next wave would start. And there will probably be the option of an hour's training just before your first shift, which they're to encourage half the workers to attend, but they (the people who phone us up) don't get told about that until just before the start date.

Re: How to contact Angard
Bah, Humbug. What right have you to be merry in the Royal Mail at Christmas?
Does anyone have a postal address for Angard as I am raising a claim in the Small Claims Court? I am owed almost £1000 accrued over the last 6 weeks. I also have a journalist who is interested as it is an indication of how the 18,000 seasonal workers are going to fare, many of whom will have come off benefits.

Re: How to contact Angard
Is there another number for the Christmas team? I've been given the provisional offer letter, the RM portal says PROCESSING SECURITY CHECKS and I'm supposed to start for a late shift at the Edinburgh sorting office on Monday 21st November!
There's no answer on the number I've been given - not even a recorded message - 01604 629381; is this the right number?
Thanks
