I got through on that number half an hour ago. I spent ages yesterday phoning about 10 various numbers and could speak to no-one in payroll, so this number is worth knowing about.

And believe it or not, after 2 days of 1p payments, I actually got some money in the bank today today - the previous payments went on in the middle of the night, but this one turned up about 9:30. Not the right amount obviously, but until I get the payslips (promised to arrive next week) I've no idea whether they charged me too much tax/NI or are just underpaying me. Probably both, knowing them.

Good luck with yours anyway.

Anybody tried 0160634319 or 01604 629381. Apparently these are Angard Staffing alternate numbers from SAYNOTO0870.COM.

Also £6.08 is the minimum wage for 18 and over.

I've just called them on 01604 629381 and can confirm that it gets through. Eventually. My phone gave up the first time as it just rang and rang. Second attempt it was answered.

Before I looked here, I phoned Reed HR in Bristol, and asked to speak to someone re Angard. An intern gave me the 0845 number. I asked if there was a non-0845 number and she started giving me a number for Richard Post - the CEO of Reed Specialist Recruitment. She was quickly told to stop, and tell me there were no other numbers available.
Absolute disgrace to give people 0845 numbers to call about, regarding their own pay.

An efficient, effective way of communicating with Angard Staffing Solutions and bypassing all the useless frustrating calls to 0845.... etc is to:
Email angardpayroll.queries@reedglobal.com (priority!)
plus sending copy emails to the following people:

Moya Greene, CEO - moya.greene@royalmail.com

John Duncan, Group HR Director - john.duncan@royalmail.com and

Mark Higson, MD Operation and Modernisation - mark.higson@royalmail.com

Hence your payroll query will be seen by all at the "top" or at least by the PAs who will have to download hard copy to their "superiors, all in the interests of openness and transparency!? Note that Mark Higson's letter (stereotyped) of apology of the 9/1/2012 to individual Christmas casuals gives the following number: 0845 460 7318

what email client are you using m.l.matthews?

if you are using outlook express or outlook, then there is an option on the toolbar to 'set priority', in outlook express, if you open a new email, go to the 'message' menu within that email message and there is an option to set priority.
there should be a similar option in outlook.

let me know and i'll try to assist IF i've not answered your question.

ok well i've done an internet search and it appears that yahoo doesn't have this facility. shucks!

i would recommend just sending the email as it is and make sure your subject / title is meaningful ie 'Employment Tribunal date', or 'Unlawfully deducted wages' or 'Unpaid wages outstanding since December?' anything that will grab someone's attention quickly, ok? (send your email today and expect a response by Wednesday I hope!)

good luck!

Struggling to get through to this lot using any of the numbers posted in this thread - any ideas - or an email address that doesn't reply with an automated "self help" email...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
