I am in the same situation ,my status says hired and start data agreed but nothing so far.
I find this treatment disgusting,no mention ever of start dates or shift patterns and when you call angard they just fob you off and tell you they don`t know anything.
There isnt even a number you can call them at the place where you will be working.I feel royal mail has ruined its reputation by using this agency and i may write to my MP about it as this is terrible treatment not worthy of a big company. Thanks to angard i have now turned down a couple of jobs as i thought would be starting beginning of november one was even a permanent one. What a palava.

Poor Angard get the blame for everything!. Angard didnt recruit this years Casuals RM did so no wonder they didnt know anything about it.If you dont know who recruited you what chance does Angard have.

I am due to start at Doxford Park (MDEC data entry) on Monday 26th November - I was contacted by Reed, who work alongside Angard (or own them?), who verbally offered me the position, and I was meant to be getting an e-mail today to confirm how and when to collect my ID and other paperwork some time next week, but nothing so far. I will be ringing them again tomorrow morning.

You turned down a permanent job for a 3 to 8 week casual job - WHY?

Hello
Would be nice if anyone can help me. I applied for Christmas casual at jubilee mail Centre Hounslow and they told me I got a job and start from 26 nov and induction on 23 nov. My status is Hired and start date agreed. I received a 7 pages welcome pack with the payroll number on it. I didn’t receive any email or phone call. Only one day is left for my induction will they call me or welcome pack is enough.
Thanks in advance
