It's ALL sorting office work - Nobody was offered any driving jobs last year and this year it was not on the terms of the Jobs well in any of the Scottish mail centre's St Rollox,Eurocentral,Edinburgh. I Have heard some folk are getting a call out of the blue to start earlier than say the 19th Nov - there agreed date. Just depends how busy they . People started last year on 31st October but the first few weeks it was really quiet, so am guessing this year rather than having folk sit about most people will get about 5 weeks work and not the 8 weeks like last year. Then you will notice it getting busier with Ebay,Amazon,Play.com deliveries coming into the mail centre's.

Hi

My fiance went for his interview/registration event on 31 October in Wishaw. He has applied for the Eurocentral site.

We have since been daily checking his online application and today it has changed to "Processing Offer". He doesn't have a start date.

There is also a heading on the Summary Page saying "Job Offers" and underneath that it is showing the position he applied for then there is a few links to click and the next page says:-

"As you have passed your assessment we are now moving your application onto the next stage of the recruitment process.
A recruitment advisor will be in contact with you shortly to explain the next steps and outline some of the pre employment checks we will be undertaking.
Once these checks have been completed to our standard further details regarding your offer will be sent to you via email, including information such as your start date, pay and benefits."

Can anybody explain to me if this seems like his going to be offered a job or not?

Thanks in advance.

Did he get a letter at the registration event saying when he is supposed to start?

I would just show up on that day regardless of what it was saying on the website.
