I got £350 cash today as I didn't get paid yesterday. Those of us who hadn't got paid yesterday put our names on a sheet for non payment which is I guess what they went from for the cash payment as somepeople had nothing in the bank and no cash payment. I'm guessing they hadn't put their names on the list?

I have tried emailing that address already and I was smart enough to ask for a delivery notification. Guess what ..........it came back as undeliverable. I also tried all the other email addresses on the Anguard staffing website and got exactly the same result. As I see it the pay received does not equal the hours worked so therefore they are paying below the minimum wage and I do beleive that the Inland Revenue has a number for reporting firms who flout the minimum pay rates. My pay equates to £3.06 and I am over 18. I have a few cunning plans in the pipeline...........waiting to see if the last email sent 2 minutes ago to a fourth address bounces back :cuppa

Is there anyone from the Warrington sorting office who can confirm receipt of any
pay. I started on 1st December and am still waiting to be paid. As a result of this
fiasco I packed in last thursday

Well most people at Greenford didnt get paid - first we were told we would get PO cards with money on and that never happened then it was oh you will get the money on Saturday somehow...... then it was Mon poss Tues...... then it was we will phone you on Saturday your pay info guess what! Still no money. I was one of the few on Friday who simply said that oh well we will get paid sooner or later but now I am not so sure.... Is Angard a legit set up? Can they dissapear with my money and if so would the Royal Mail be legally responsible to pay me or could they just hold their hands up?

Well!
What can I say, working for legitimate, professional company's in my past 2 employments and having becoming redundant in Sept. I thought this Xmas temp job would be straightforward and would have some extra cash for Xmas and NYE.....This is the last thing I expected

I work at the Watford depot where all you have stated below is true, some got paid 40% of their salary not knowing when the other 60% will be paid and most have NOT received a single dime and it's the 3rd week of work today!! I am sooo upset and outraged at the same time. "The Recruit" have a story on this already and are exposing RM and Angard for their incompetence - however, it is not enough, Royal Mail Group is who I/We need to sue NOT just for the extreme delay in our pay, not just f**king up tax codes, not just for the non responsiveness, not just for the shallow/cheap call they did on me BUT for PRINCIPLE.
Theirs 18,000 people out their who are in the same boat, can you imagine the interest they occur on this?

I really, truly am in the process of suing and have got 15 other staff who have backed me up and provided their information and statement - so I feel strong ATM. Lets hope and see.

A poor guy on my son's night shift wasn't on the list for a £350 voucher - he had not been paid at all in the previous weeks, his car was running on vapours and he was down to his last £8 worth of gas at home. He has a small daughter and thought the £350 might just get them both through christmas!!! He was sooo upset and angry that he wasn't on the 'LIST' he just left, almost in tears. (one of the supervisors gave him a tenner to get home and back!!!!)

These poor men (and women) are being treated soooooooooo badly - it is absolutely criminal - where are they supposed to get the money they are owed from??
Angard??? yeah right!!!!

I'm on my second week and I'm quite concerned about this 'non-payent' issue.
f Royal Mail own Angard then they are responsible for the non-payment of wages.
Is the CWU taking this issue up?

And how about picketting Mail Centres? anyone up for that if pay isin't sorted by, say, end of the first week of Jan? Most agency workers will be back on the dole que by then, so what do we have to loose?
