Should have been paid - no money, no payslip, no contact from Angard. Tomorrow I will be the victim of an assault - someone from Angard is going to headbutt my fist. :Very Happy (joke of course!)

I got paid £12.14 again on Friday, So not happy. Had our bosses' boss come in to Friday night shift, who informed us that there was a big meeting taking place on Saturday morning between Angard and RM. Can only hope for payment on Monday because otherwise when we leave on Saturday morning, there will be no way to contact Angard at all!!!

Do you work at Foxtail Road? If so your story went round Ipswich MC on Friday night! We were wondering if you were going to get taxed on that penny =p =)

My particular situation is making me laugh in disbelief. I'll give a quick break down:

5th December, started work. Night shifts.
13th December, RM staff member goes around asking us all when we started and if we've been paid yet.
14th December, RM staff member tells us RM are taking over paying wages so we don't walk out and to make sure it's done right.
15th December, RM staff member gives us an official headed and signed letter saying RM will pay us on Friday 16th December.
16th December, didn't get paid. :arrrghhh Didn't go to work as a form of protest.
18th December, receive phone call from Angard to ask me for my bank details (which they already have) so they can pay me on Friday 23rd December. :d'oh!

I won't go in to detail about the Angard phone call today, but I will briefly say that the woman was completely incompetent and contradicted herself several times.

Anyway, I know I'm not in the same position as some people who have worked more hours and still received no pay, but I still find this all quite humorous that RM and Angard are both failing massively at even the simplest of tasks. I don't know what I'm going to do about Monday's shift yet. This is utterly unacceptable.

For anyone in the same position as me, this is my situation and next course of action:
I am in the underpaid category. Admittedly not by much (just over £20) to date but I have absolutely no faith whatsoever (backed up by a phone call to Angard Payroll a few minutes ago) that my underpayment will be reimbursed or indeed that I will be paid anything atall in the future. I currently await pay for last week and of course this week. (And payslips).

I am going to go into work today (Birmingham) but I will not be going 'in to work' until I get something concrete from a manager that I will be receiving my full entitlement. i.e the infamous post office bar code voucher or absolute assurance (in writing) that I will receive my pay and the dates that I will receive it. What has really fuelled my fire is that colleagues in the same position as me (underpaid) have received that voucher.

If I don't receive at least a weeks pay by Friday I cannot pay my rent, let alone fund Christmas. Someone has to pay, quite literally.
