In previous years it's been 6 - 12, starting a week later than the other shifts with a fraction of the hours. For that reason I've always given it a swerve, even though it'd be so much easier for me to do an early shift.
Was offered 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 and 230pm - 1030 when I went in on 10th Oct
What time did you attend your registration event and did you actually see the shifts in writing ?
I was at the first one and they had no idea of the shifts because the person with all the info was supposedly stuck in traffic. They were guessing at what they thought they would be lol.

Maybe it has changed then mate. Gutted it it has though, if I'd known their was a 6 - 2 shift starting next week I'd have done that myself.

Shock horror Angard actually rang me 3, yes 3 times today to confirm that I start on Monday. They've also text and emailed me.

I was told that only the late and night shifts will start next week and the early shift won't start until the following week.

I should be chuffed, and don't get me wrong I feel happier now than I felt this morning, but having read that many horror stories on here I won't believe I've started until I've actually put a shift in. And even then who knows what's in store when it comes to payment :d'oh!

Just got through to Angard and the guy told us there were 140,000 applicants in total for the UK (for 18000 positions?), and even though I went to one of the first interview sessions it is now not first come first served regarding when (and if?) you get a job. Could not get any more info as it seems Angard do not have any lists about when my shift started.

This sort of treatment needs to be in the papers.
