Christmas recruitment begins today (September 5)

Along with other members I've had the problem of emails appearing in my RM account inbox, but not my actual ISP email account inbox. Went for my registration on Oct 2nd. On October 11th, and then again yesterday, the following email from the Christmas helpline appeared in my ISP email inbox:

"Thank you for your interest in working for Royal Mail this Christmas.

If you have yet to attend a registration event we look forward to seeing you there.

If you have recently attended a registration event we are working hard to process your information.

We will be back in touch soon.

Kind Regards

The Christmas Recruitment Team".

This message, however, has not appeared in my RM account inbox. The last message I received there was the 'confirmation of interview' message after I booked my registration.

Status has now changed to PROCESSING OFFER I have however just received a text & email confirming my start date & time

I too received the messages and the emails today. Status - Processing Offer.

I'm hoping I get a phonecall to start earlier than the 19th November. Wishful thinking but the more money the better.

I had a choice to start on the 27th November and work the preferred hours 14:00 - 22:00 or start a week earlier and do the nights :/.

I've never been one for taking my phone everywhere with me, but since missing that call - just to go downstairs and make some lunch, it hasn't left my sight.

wouldnt bet on getting to start sooner.

I have withdrawn my application with Royal Mail, as an agency offered me more weeks.

I did ask Royal Mail before I withdraw, if they could make up the difference, but they said no.

You will start on the start date you agreed at your "interview"

Processing Offer.. (they will text/email you your start dates) and then Hired and Start Date Agreed. mine only took about 2 days to go to Hired.
