Christmas recruitment begins today (September 5)

Hi, I am 18 and have been offered a Xmas temp role for December. On the work agreement sheet it says my pay rate will be £6.20 which I believe is the minimum wage for 21+ years old. Do you guys think I will be paid £6.20 an hour or they will drop my pay to £5 an hour which is the minimum wage for 18 yr olds?

How many people have actually been contacted by RM/Reed/Angard/the prophet Zarquon and been offered a job? When are your start dates? I know I've probably got to wait a few weeks before I hear about the MDEC, like last year, but it's a bit irritating, especially because I'm still on JSA

EDIT; I only mean Christmas people, not people who work for Angard all year round.

Well i had my interview for the eurocentral on the 5th oct,, got my start date for the 19th nov "lates". Status on RM site is now "prossecing offer" which should change soon "Hired and stard date agreed".

think it was arround 4 days to a week m8

thanks, mine went to processing security checks DS last Friday and then the DS disappeared Monday and it's been processing security checks since then

Just logged into mine and it is now showing SECURITY CHECKS PASSED, only took about a week just over. Do you get a copy in the post of the CRB check and is it a basic or enchanced does anyone know?

One thing thing I would like to know is how an application status can go from, "processing security checks ds" to "awaiting further information". As I would think it be the other way around

Hopefully they will reply to me to find out what the issue of my information is as have e-mailed them not that long ago.
