Pre-tax profits have surged past the £100m at parcel delivery giant DPD with sales also increasing by more than a quarter.
Newly filed accounts for DPDgroup UK Ltd revealed turnover of £829m for the year to 4 January 2015, compared with £692.3m for the 12 months to 29 December 2013.
Pre-tax profit also soared to £104.3m from £87.2m.
A statement from directors said DPD's board "believes that the group is well placed" for further sales and profit growth from "core products and value-added services".
During the year under review, DPD became the first company in the UK to launch a Sunday delivery service, which it said has provided a "real game changer" for the market.
Since its year end, the group has also invested £100m into a hub in Hinckley, Leicestershire, which became operational in August. The centre is understood to be the largest in of its kind in Europe and has boosted DPD's capacity by 65 per cent.
It vowed to continue investing in its nationwide network of depots.
In April, DPD scooped a Queen's Award for Enterprise for its one house delivery service Predict.
