The company believes that the switch to e-bikes will lower its costs and reduce CO2 emissions.
The FreeDuck 2 bikes were produced in a cooperative venture between Ducati and the Slovenian bicycle producer Krpan.
The bikes have a maximum speed of 25 km/h and a range of at least 60 km. The charging takes three hours and the bicycles will be charged in postal offices throughout Croatia. The weight capacity of the bike (the driver and the load) is 200kg.
