Employees of post offices in Kazakhstan will be provided with smartphones and printers to receive orders and payments, chairman of the board of the JSC “Kazpost” Bagdat Musin has said today.
“We will reconsider image of postmen in order to modernize and improve it. This year all postmen in each city and region will be provided with smartphones. The smartphone will receive orders, which allow postman to avoid unnecessary walking from office to addressee. Secondly, it will mark status of delivery. Thirdly, it will receive payments for communal services,” Musin clarified.
Salary of employees of Kazpost will be increased due to the last year’s profit of company.
According to him, at the moment 22 thousand people work at the JSC “Kazpost”, 50% work in rural areas.
