DPD UK has agreed to develop a new 63,000 sq ft parcel distribution hub in Cambridge, marking a further investment in its expanding UK network and becoming the first occupier to commit to the proposed Tritax Park Queens’ Cambridge development.
The parcel carrier has signed an Agreement for Lease with developer Tritax Big Box Developments (TBBD) for the purpose-built facility, which will serve the Cambridgeshire area from a 304-acre site adjacent to the A14 Bar Hill Interchange at Junction 25.
The agreement comes as TBBD prepares to submit a detailed planning application later this year for approximately 892,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics space across five units, following the completion of public consultation.
