Oxford Mail readers have given their verdict on Evri ahead of the Christmas delivery rush.
The delivery giant has come under fire in parts of the country for its service, with claims of unruly drivers and Christmas presents going missing.
The parcel delivery specialist, which was previously part of the Hermes parcel group, was bought by US private equity firm Apollo for around £2.7 billion last year.
Reader Linda, from Abingdon, said: "They messaged at 4.30 to say it has been delivered. I have a ring doorbell the camera showed no one came to my door.
"It then arrived 10.30 at night. Amazon please don’t send orders via Evri."

Teri added: "Never had a problem until this month, had three purchases go missing, then turn up weeks later.
"Talking to one supplier who said they’re having trouble with all their carriers. I’ve also had problems with Royal Mail and Yodel this month."
And Gemma, from Oxford, added: "Always leaves my parcels in the alley because the person is too lazy to walk around to the front of the house."
However, not all had bad experiences with the company.
Jonny said: "My Evri guy is brilliant. Never had any issues at all, will put it in a safe space if I want too. My local postie is amazing too."
Paul added: "Evri are brilliant, they deliver the majority of parcels entrusted to them in a timely and safe manner. Our driver called Alan is first class.
"You have to remember a number of things about delivery. One, consumers don't like paying for delivery, but expect a white glove service.
"Two, at Christmas time, from Black Friday onwards, parcel carriers deliver over a quarter of their annual volume."
An Evri spokesman told a sister paper: "Every parcel matters to us, and the overwhelming majority of our couriers provide an excellent service to their customers.
"This courier has not met our high standards and will no longer be delivering on behalf of Evri. Any customers who need support can contact our customer service team."
Earlier this month, BBC Panorama went undercover to investigate the pressures of working in an Evri delivery unit, speaking to unhappy customers and couriers who say they struggle to make a living.
However, Evri has disputed the claims which were broadcast on the channel.
