An Evri delivery driver snapped a hilariously unflattering photo of a woman while dropping off a parcel — and instead of being upset she shared it online. The awkward snap quickly gained attention with people relating to the moment and praising her for seeing the funny side.
Ellie Roxanne Johnson, from the Rhondda, was in the shower when she heard the delivery driver at her front door. The unexpected photo op happened when she jumped out of the shower to grab a parcel wearing nothing but a towel.
Still dripping wet and fresh from the bathroom she rushed to the front door to meet the courier. As he handed over once he clocked her soaking wet hair and towel-clad look he couldn’t help but laugh. And, in a moment that’s now making the rounds online, he snapped a photo for delivery confirmation.
What could’ve been an embarrassing ordeal quickly turned into a viral moment of relatable chaos with the TikToker sharing the story and photo with her followers who were quick to praise her for embracing the situation with humour.
Delivery couriers take photographs to provide proof of delivery, which verifies that a package has been successfully dropped off at the correct location. Get the latest Rhondda news first by signing up to our newsletter here.
The images serve as evidence for both the delivery company and the customer, helping to prevent and resolve disputes about lost or misplaced packages, while providing protection against false claims. Usually delivery couriers don’t need your face in the photo.
She said in the video: ”I’ve just seen the picture that the Evri man took of me whilst at the door in my towel.
”I’m shaking cause I think I’m hungry. He knocks the door. I open it. He’s not even looking at me at this point.
”I take it off from him. I say: ‘Oh thanks. You know you’ve just disrupted my shower’.
”He looks up at me and he goes ‘Haha’ [takes a photo] whilst I’m standing here like this.
” 'Yeah, cheers, butt – thanks for that'.”
The mortified TikToker uploaded the hilarious snap where she was seen holding the towel around her body and freshly out of the shower.
”Evri you do it every time,” she wrote in the caption.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

What happened to not taking a picture of their face?
Does that only apply to us or have they broken the GDPR?

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
