
Police have launched an investigation after a DPD delivery driver was robbed in Coventry. It happened on Edward Road.
Parcels can be seen strewn on the ground in an image seen by CoventryLive. Two men, wearing hats, gloves and face coverings, were seen placing boxes into a BMW.
Detectives are now investigating the incident, which happened at around 8am on Wednesday, October 23. Witnesses have been urged to get in touch with West Midlands Police by calling 101.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating after a delivery driver had some parcels stolen from their van on Edward Road. It happened just after 8am on Wednesday, October 23.
“Anyone with information should talk to us via Live Chat quoting 20/948220/24. Alternatively, contact the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“You may be entitled to a cash reward. Delivery drivers can get safety and security advice on www.westmidlands.police.uk.”
