WITH Christmas fast approaching, parcel delivery service Evri is looking to fill 85 courier positions in Carlisle.
It follows as the firm is nationally seeking to recruit 5,000 couriers between now and the peak holiday period.
Couriers typically earn around £16.50 per hour, according to Evri.
Evri's recruitment drive follows on the back of the firm's drive to fill 160 Carlisle courier roles in July this year.
The roles come with the flexibility of delivering parcels between 8am and 8pm.
Similarly, Yodel is looking for 48 couriers and 18 warehouse roles in the city, while Royal Mail seeks 42 seasonal workers for the Carlisle Mail Centre.
