Yodel issued its latest trading update in which it saw an increase in parcel volumes of 17% during peak season in 2022.
Additionally, it saw overall C2C volumes for H1 FY23 rise by 162% YoY.
This news comes after Yodel said it was investing in its fleet by pumping £7.5 million into its road network, and announced plans for a new 161,900ft² depot in Huyton, due to be complete this summer.
Additionally, the company has established new partnerships with Holland & Barrett, eBay, and Vinted.
Mike Hancox, CEO of Yodel said: “FY23 has seen Yodel continuing to build on the strong results we have seen over the last two years, with more new client wins. The success of our peak season was fuelled by the spike in consumer-to-consumer parcel volumes through Yodel Direct and is testament to the tireless work of our colleagues across the country.
