A person who was awaiting the delivery of a package via Yodel's InPost service couldn't believe where the company's driver had got 'stuck' for two hours on the tracking service

A Brit who was awaiting a delivery from their local Yodel courier has vented their frustration on social media after the courier appeared to get held up in bizarre circumstances. Taking to Reddit, they shared a snap of where the driver had seemingly become "stuck".
"Definitely no package for me today then," the Reddit user said. "It seems my Yodel postie has been nicked (stuck at the station for the past 2 hours)." Indeed, the image, which was a screenshot of a tracking website, pinpointed the driver at Limehouse Police Station in the Borough of Tower Hamlets in East London.
It prompted hundreds of other Reddit users to poke fun at the unfortunate situation.
"He was delivering justice," one person joked.
A second pondered: "Maybe he was there making a statement after all his packages including OP’s [original poster] were stolen. Which I think is more hilarious than just them being arrested."
A third quipped: "Your parcel has been nicked."
Whilst a fourth Reddit user asked in jest: "What contraband are you smuggling?"
Others, meanwhile, shared similar stories of disappointment.
"I had one where the driver just suddenly turned round and drove back to the supermarket and the entire shop got marked as undeliverable," one person said.
"I think he realised he wasn't going to make the two-hour slot and just decided, f*** this. I had to do all the shopping again, it was a real pain in the a***. Only ever happened once, though."
Another recalled: "Had that the other day, got to within a 100 yards of my home (apartment block so more than just my parcels), then could not make it and drove off. Literally had to drive past our place because of the road layout to not make it to our place."
And a third individual shared: "I've had that and it said I was the next stop. Driver was on our street. Drove straight past. And one hour later, 'delivery delayed', then the next day they changed the delivery date to a week later. Needless to say, never got the package."
Yodel assures its customers online: "Yodel by InPost delivers millions of parcels every week to every postcode across the UK. That’s why we have more than 49 sites nationwide to help get your parcel delivered on time, no matter where you need it to be.
