ERIC CHARLES GEORGE
For those of you who knew him, I regret to inform you that Eric George died on Saturday 12th October 2013 after losing his fight against prostate cancer.
Our thoughts are with Eric's family, especially his wife Jean.
Eric served on the National Executive Council of the POEU and then as a National Officer and subsequently taking on the roles of Deputy General Secretary and Acting General Secretary for 16 years before retiring from the union in 1989.
Eric's contribution to the Union will be long remembered by many and he will be sorely missed.
The funeral will be held at Colney Woodland Burial Park on Friday 1st November 2013 at 1.00pm at

The family has requested that no flowers be sent, but donations can be made to The Prostate Cancer UK.
