How did this get through?

How are reps going to work with this?

Absences that used to not be counted are now "normally" not counted. They can hassle anyone at anytime by summoning them to an "informal review discussion". On long term sick, you have to meet them on day 28, week 12 and week 22. There will always be some arselicker who will let them come to their sick bed so they will sack you if you want to retain your dignity and refuse to meet them when you are ill.

This agreement allows management to further de-humanise the workforce. It's a disgrace.

It got through because it was only put to the reps to get a vote on it  and was sold as a No plan b and it's a good deal because of the 6 months and off a stage thing.(which was the carrot).
How are reps going to work with this?
The same as normal  .Those of us who know how to use the system will benefit and the ones who can't be arsed will still be shafting their members and expecting Area reps to bail them out. :d'oh!

The review things are ok so long as they are done properly but as we all know they never are by this shower of shite.
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.
