West of Scotland has been identified as an Area that are making effective use of IPS so best practice learning has been drawn from their experience......

The only part that's agreed is the agreement itself,the rest is management garbage.
It's full of contradictions like IPS sets the base level of employee performance then they go on to say they are set at 100BSI...that's a hell of a base level.
They also state that IPS is not a one time pass or fail and should be used on a daily basis when the agreement says the exact opposite....

Fish do you know if this BS is agreed, because even my Manager said not but the doc's say different.

The actual National Agreement on the Introduction of Performance Standards is but presenting it with the other two docs takes it out of context.
I would be very surprised and disappointed if the CWU doesn't ask for the other two docs to be withdrawn,it's a blatant attempt to turn the IPS into a bullying tool.
Do you know how recent they are?

Was on the Intranet at work looking for the PDA stuff and saw a link to the IPS stuff.
I thought i would print it off because it gets talked about a lot on here, but i have no idea how old it is.
What i was thinking, Is this where all this bullying about preformance is coming from.
It only takes one BullyBoy Manager to read it and start using it to try and intimidate people,and for other Bullies to ask where he got it and before you know it every office in the area will be using it.
