The Gateway Team

This team has responsibility for acknowledgement all complaints and identifying appropriate investigating managers. They take ownership of every case, monitoring its progress alongside supporting the investigators through providing advice and guidance on the policy and procedure. They record and track cases, process appeal requests, follow up any investigating manager recommendations and seek updates on progress 8 weeks after case conclusions.

RMG Listeners Scheme

Listeners are volunteer frontline employees of Royal Mail who are trained to offer confidential, compassionate and emotional support and be a source of practical help to colleagues who may be experiencing issues in relation to bullying & harassment at work.

Posters advertising the names, job role and contact details are displayed in all areas which have Listeners.

Disability Helpline

This helpline is staffed by a team specifically trained in disability issues, and offers a fully confidential service. Receipt of enquiries is acknowledged within one working day and a full response is provided withinin 5 days, unless otherwise agreed. Core working hours are 08.00-17.00 Monday to Friday, but messages, faxes and emails can be sent 24/7.
