As requested.
Warning, the overview document is a straight cut and paste from the intranet, and the flowcharts in it aren't readable in anyway, if someone wants to clean it up I'd be grateful.
Attached the flow charts as separate images, but I seem to be missing one, didn't have time at work today to try and find it, sorry guys.

This is not a RML document.
This is,as far as i'm aware a POL document but you would have to ask one of those guys.

Re: Non Culpable Inefficiency
What's a POL document? Either way our DOM has obviously been told to start using this to get rid of people.
On the face of it you would think it couldn't be done on prep rate unless you were really slow on the 1 minute test and couldn't improve, but even then, how slow is slow and would everybody below 25 be potential targets?
She is really talking about non agreed throughput rates, but how serious is this? She proved she is a liar when she made up figures about my throughput rate by deciding not to count the D2D'S which I had spent 20 out of the 35 mins prepping into the fitting. This also was a test that I didn't know of and was without a stopwatch .
My fear is this, what is stopping her doing that again to anybody who annoys her off by cutting off or booking?
Personally I wouldn't fear any proper independent test, but who is to say you would get one?
It would be interesting to know of any other instances around the country where they have tried this and hopefully failed.

POL = Post Office Limited so it shouldn't apply to us in letters.

According to our resident HR guru...
http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... 15&t=35989" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;NumptyBumpty wrote:NCI can apply to anyone, it's a formal structure for getting rid of someone who isn't capable of doing a job - it's purpose, like most of these procedures is to protect RM from unfair dismissal tribunals. Very difficult to get to the end of the process as improvement will result in being removed from the process. The business would also be required to find a more appropriate job to the skills of the individual as well, and then show they aren't capable of that. Takes a very long time.
You've got to be really bad at your job to leave via this route.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
