RE: Changes to Existing GP Medical Certificate ‘Fit Note’
As promised LTB 259/2010 stated that once the business has finalised their Questions & Answers we would copy to all branches. Please find attached the final draft. We have also arranged a further meeting with Royal Mail Group for 12th May to assess developments over the first month of the new procedure.

Finally (c) if the fit note suggests modifications and these can’t be made the individual’s absence will still be considered under the attendance procedure (as Royal Mail will be unable to accommodate them in that instance).
